Proposed View when finished
Celebrate National Get Outdoors Day with a trail walk in Washington's brand new state park. This new state park is a "gem in the rough", but has some great trails for walking. Both the 5k and 10k routes will be made up of several loops. Because this is National Get Outdoors Day, no Discover Pass will be needed.
Water and restrooms at the start/finish. Pets permitted but not in building(s), and must be on a leash. Owners are responsible for leash and cleanup laws. PETS MUST REMAIN ON THE TRAIL. The trail is not suitable for wheelchairs, but big wheel strollers may be okay.
This is volkssport sanctioned walk, rated 1C. Credit fees to stamp your record books are $4. All participants are welcome but we appreciate donations to support this event and others like this. All must register, carry and return a start card.
NOTE: This is NOT the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. This is a new state park outside of Eatonville.
LOCATION: Nisqually State Park
43371 Mashel Prairie Rd
Eatonville, WA
START TIME: 9am to Noon
FINISH TIME: 3pm
DISTANCE: 10KM (6.2 miles) or 5KM (3.1 miles)
