Saturday, March 16, 2019 -- Walk the New Foothills Trail from South Prairie toward Buckley
South Prairie Trailhead
Walk on the newest section of the Foothills Rails-to-Trails trail from South Prairie toward Buckley through farmlands with views of Mt Rainier.
Water and restrooms at the start/finish. Pets permitted but not in building(s). Owners are responsible for leash and cleanup laws. PETS MUST REMAIN ON THE TRAIL.
Bring your bike along and start the Orting Bike YRE here. We will have the stamp at the community center.
This is volkssport sanction # 110500, rated 2A. Credit fees to stamp your record books are $3. Free walkers are welcome. All must sign a waiver, carry and return a start card.

START TIME: 9am to 12pm
FINISH TIME: 3pm
DISTANCE: 10KM (6.2 miles) or 5KM (3.1 miles)
DIRECTIONS: From I-5: Take exit #127, Puyallup/SR 512. Merge onto SR167 and immediately take the SR410 (Sumner/Buckley) exit to the 2nd Sumner Exit (SR162). Turn right and continue until you reach the South Prairie Community Center on the RIGHT next to the fire station.
From SR 167: Take the Sumner/Buckley exit to SR 410 (Sumner). Take the 2nd Sumner exit (SR 162), turn right and continue as above.
